Been M.I.A. again and Foundation!

Hey all, I promised myself I wouldn’t neglect my blog or my Youtube and that I wouldn’t blame it on school… but I’ve negelect them both :(. It’s my fault and I admit it, sometimes it’s hard to blog when you have other things on your mind as my fellow bloggers would know. I really would like to apologise for my absence and hopefully this weekend I can record the tutorials I had promised in the previous post.

In case any of you were actually wondering, school is not going to bad. The work isn’t always pleasant, but I have good friends haha. I’m sure I would have gone insane already if not for them. So to all of my friends and people I recently met, THANKS for keeping me sane ^__^
Special thank you to certain special people too heheheh.

I’m actually supposed to be doing Chemistry assignments and a lab write up now, but I really think after all this crazy studying, my brain has had enough of this. For any other Chemistry majors.. or Science majors in general, I feel your pain.
It feels like all I’ve been doing is sleeping every day I got home. It’s insane lol. Staying ahead, or even just there in classes is a lot of work and I wish you all the best for this semester, in case I haven’t said that in another post.

As I knew I would, I got lazy about doing my nails haha, but I hope to paint them this weekend. Not sure what colour yet, but any suggestions please leave them in the comments :).

I’ve been trying something different this month, beauty-wise. I’m sure most people know about foundation, but we also know it can be pretty heavy on the skin. I dont think I would need to wear foundation everyday, but on those days (like today when you mess up your sleep schedule) and you need a pick me up, I found that foundation works wonders. But not in the regular way of applying your foundation. Instead I’ve been using it as a tinted moisturiser by adding a small amount to my regular face moisturiser.

It’s actually not that obvious because it’s sheer coverage, but it definitely makes you look like you’ve slept. Then to add some warmth to your face, though trust me the Sun does a good job too haha, I would apply some bronzer, and then finsh with a lipgloss.  There you have it, a quick easy pick me up for school. I may post a picture sometime later, I’ll keep you posted.

Hope everyone is surviving the semester well, just had to do a bit of checking in because I feel like I’ve been gone forever (especially without a word). But hopefully I’ll be back banging out videos and posts like bang bang boom. LOL

Have a great weekend! ^_^

MMM shots, now I’d have one of those right about now haha.

Tutorials coming this Month!

Hey all! I have been fairly M.I.A. this month and I really would like to apologise for that. I’m not going to blame it on school, but rather my own mind. Sometimes inspiration for a good post is hard to come by.

I had planned a special post in appreciation of my friends and supporters, which showcased a video. However I will be re-filming or re-editing pieces of this video, before I release it. (This will not be made available on my YouTube however, just here on this blog.)

A number of tutorials will also be coming up, with a everyday looks I’ve tried as well as a celebrity- look from a recent perfume advertisement. I still plan on recreating a fall trends make up look with metallics as seen in Seventeen Magazine for September. Another look which I would love to try out is Adele’s classic look, so be on the look out for that as well.

Until next post, have a great day and an awesome week!

Candy Sprinkled Fall NOTW

Hey all! It’s been a while since my last NOTW, this week I wanted a darker colour, but still wanted it to be fun. Last week I had actually tried colour- blocking my nails and I had received a ton a nice compliments. (Thank you btw). I think I may redo that nail design later this month, because I did like it a lot and it was actually really easy.

For Fall, metallics, plums, jewel-tones, glitters and warm tones are in. The closest I have to plums at least is e.l.f. Nail polish in “Royal Purple”, which in fact is very similar to Ruby Kisses “Purple Fever”. However, the e.l.f is much more opaque.
Although I wanted a more fall look, here in Barbados it still is Summer (well then again, it’s practically Summer all year-round hahah), I added some fun multicoloured glitter polish (Wet N Wild “469-Hallucinate”) and finished of with a protecting clear top coat! The glitter makes me think of cupcakes hehehe.

Voila, quick and easy, but fun nails.

I actually find that since I’ve been painting my nails I feel a bit more motivated during classes. Maybe it’s the colours. Or maybe it’s the fact that I am thinking about what I should paint them the next week. hahaha. Hopefully I can keep up with painting or at least caring my nails every week for this semester. That definitely would be and accomplishment for me!

What colours are you rocking for this week? Or even for fall? What are your current favourite nail trends?

XOXO

100 Days with Mr. Arrogant ~Asian Candy~

Hey all! How many of you are enjoying school so far? *chirp chrip* I admit it, I’m not either. But what a better way to lift your spirits about school than with a bit of ~Asian Candy~ MMMMmmm! This month, I ‘ll be keeping it light with a Korean movie (because we all have homework, or lab write-ups or.. something really lame we should be doing for class).

Let’s get down to it!

100 Days with Mr. Arrogant

Type: Comedy, Romance

Country: South Korea
Storyline:
Ha-Young played by Ha Ji-Won, had been dumped by her boyfriend just before their 100 day anniversary. She accidentally kicks a can that hits a college guy named Hyung-Joon in the face, causing him to scratch his Lexus and he demands that she pay him $3000 on the spot.
Luckily, she escapes from him but leaves her wallet behind. Hyung-Joon stalks her, demanding money to pay for his car. Since she is a poor high school student Hyung-Joon writes up a “Enslavement Agreement” for Ha-Young in order to pay for the damage to his car and she is thrown into a nightmarish slave life for 100 days, cleaning his house, running his errands, doing his homework and cleaning his car.
By accident, she finds out that the damage to Hyung-Joon’s car only costs $10! She then takes her revenge however, before she knows it Hyung-Joon shows up at her house as her new tutor…..dum Dum DUMMM!

My Opinion:
I was to watch this over so I could remember what I thought of it, because this one is actually kind of fuzzy in my memory.  But I will watch it over and update this!
