Partying into 2012! Happy New Year!!!

The hours are winding down the the end of 2011 and everyone’s getting excited for 2012. What did you guys like the most about2011? What didn’t you like about it? What would you like to change for the coming year?

Image is not my own

For me, 2011 has be a rollercoaster of a year. So many things have happened, stuff has changed in all sorts of ways. The beginning of my 2011 was uncertain for me, I had a lot on my plate for the new year, more importantly, the new semester. I was going to try to keep my videos consistent, blog regularly and ace all my courses for the semester. As the year went on, things seemed grey, but by the end of the year, ^__^ there’s that light at the end of the tunnel.

Then I started school in the Spring semester and I tried to make videos as much as I could, always getting Shanele and Ash in on the action. It was all going well until March haha, (trust UWI), then school started getting crazy with lots of work and other personal things started to pop up.  However, I tried to push on and started back making videos as much as I could, and then it was finally summer. Time to relax and make more fun videos with Ash, Shanele and all my other good friends! Yay!

As you guys may have realised I had a lot of issues with my camera and lighting at the beginning of the year and during the summer one of my bestest friends, Blackman as seen in the “Blackman look” gifted me with this beautiful handy Toshiba Camcorder, which I would forever be grateful for. Thank you so much Blackman if you’re reading this :).

Not only were my videos getting better, but you could say I had a life-changing summer. When people ask me about my summer I would always say it was crazy or just kind of daze and thing about it because it was a bit indescribable. I had fun with my friends for graduation weekend, lost something every dear to me, made new close friend, and sadly had to grow away from my best friend Shanele because she was going off to study abroad.

I call it life-changing because the series of these events helped me to make a new alliance. One that I’m definitely not regretting. You may have been able to guess by now what had happened as the person did have an entire post dedicated to them. If you guessed right, I’m talking about Tyrell, my boyfriend, and the amazing things he  does. I’m not usually the type of girl to go on and on about a guy I like or anything like that really. I’m actually quite private about my own relationships, but I must say he’s different and he’s like a best friend and a boyfriend, it’s really intriguing. Anyway for more about him you can read this post, hahah. He may want to charge me for his “fame” again :P.

The Fall semester has also been hard, I definitely have not been making videos as much as I was in the Spring semester, and there were tons of computer problems this time. But thanks to the help of my awesome supporting group of friends and family I was able to rally round and survive this whack semester. Now to see the results or all the hard-work… meh!

The year is going to an end.. in less than 7 hours. Am I excited for the new year? Not really, there’s not much difference between a year changing and a day changing for me, except fireworks of course. But do I think the best part about the year changing, is spending it with the people who make you happy and having fun together to end and start a year. Honestly we should do that  everyday, making ourselves jolly and making good times that last forever in our memories.

As we all look back on 2011 in the closing hours of this year, I’d like to wish you the best for 2012 and remember to look at the good times of 2011 as your motivation for the bad times in 2012 (because there will be those times).

Here’s a quote I need to remember for the new year, it may help you too. (taken from the Tawainese drama “Smiling Pasta”)

“Just keep smiling there’s nothing you can’t overcome.”

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Be safe and vigilant!

Lip Product Swatches (Duty-Free Day)

Hey all! Finally I have the post with the swatches for the lip products of the duty-free haul. Enjoy!

Lorac Lotsa Lip Plumping lipgloss in Foxy & Trixy:

Foxy is kind of a hard colour to describe for me. It’s like a muted red colour, but it’s in the same colour family as a burgundy, although lighter. Do you get what I mean? It’s odd really, but the photos will show you exactly what I mean.

Trixy is definitely easier to describe lol. A lovely lilac shimmer. A lilac gloss, weird you know, but it actually looks great on the lips on it’s own. Both  of these glosses have a slightly pearly finish and microglitters. Neither of them feel grainy, but go one really smooth and are very high shine. They first time I tried it on, the brush-tip applicator tricked me into squeezing out too much of the product, so the colour was very strong and rich.

Revlon Colorbrust Lipgloss in Papaya & Pink Ice:

I absolutely LOVE Papaya. From the first time I saw it in KoharuUwara’s YouTube video, I fell in love with it. Such a gorgeous coral colour, and it’s great on it’s own. I love just wearing lipgloss, It doesn’t feel as made up as wearing lipstick on a everyday basis, and this gloss is perfect for that. It has the right amount of colour and it’s not sticky at all! LOVE IT~!

Pink Ice is a nice colour too, I actually thought of using it to mute out bold colours, when you want a to make a “look at me” lip colour more everyday wearable. I haven’t tried it for that purpose yet, as I haven’t been wearing many lipsticks at work (I’ve been sticking to lip balm at work since the A/C is so drying to my lips).  But this definitely is a beautiful colour on its own, and again not sticky.

Just a close up of the applicator. It’s a flattened doe-foot applicator, really puts on the colour well.
Close up of the microglitters in Pink Ice.
Revlon Colorburst Lipstick- Peach; Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain in Twilight and Passion:
I haven’t tried this lipstick on my lips actually, not feeling it at the moment, but it’s great to have in my collection for different looks. The formula is really soft and feels very moisturising when i swatched it on my hand. How ever, the colour’s a bit sheer in my opinion, but that may be the fact that it’s such a light colour.

Of these lipstains, I personally own Passion (Twilight’s my sister’s), and I really like the colour. the First time I tried it, I totally overdosed on the colour, probably due to my poor lighting. A note to remember, these are VERY DRYING. I was in A/C a lot the first time I tried this and since I forgot my lipbalm, I was in a real dilemma. I practically licked it off until I had no more on my lips. Not pretty LOL. Since that time, I’ve moisturiser before and after the application, but I think I may moistuurise a bit too much prior, because I never get back a colour as intense as the first day. I really don’t want my lips to be chapped (I usually pat off  the balm but that doesnt seem to work).
Any suggestions for this would be greatly appreciated. 🙂
Passion is a bright pink, kind of a barbie pink but not as outrageous unless you overdose like I did lol. While Twilight is a subdued wine red.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Raisin Rage, Black Cherry & Va Va Violet:
I la la love these lipsticks. All are very pigmented and moisturising. I personally own Black Cherry and I have been wearing that like crazy, Love it! You might remember it from my haul video for these products.  The colours are nice and deep with just one swipe. It totally amazed me!
Va Va Violet is a lovely deep blue-toned purple.. or violet as the name suggests lol, While Raisin Rage would make a great everyday lip colour, a nice raspberry rose. Finally Black Cherry is a wine red, but  way more vibrant than the Lipstain above in Twilight.

Hope it wasn’t too much of a photo overload! But I wanted to make sure you could see all the colours. I always check other blogs for swatches of products I’m thinking of buying. It’s very helpful.
Have a fabulous New Year and have it safely!!
XOXO

Merry Christmas and Gift Cards!

Image is not my own.

Hey everyone, Merry Christmas! How’s your Christmas going? By this time most of you have probably been stuffed full of food and are barely able to get out of your seats. Especially for those of us here in Barbados, the ham has been carved lovely and stacks upon stacks have reached our plates and filled our stomaches :). Makes me happy to think about ham.

Christmas is a time of stress and craziness but amidst all the Christmas rush and madness, we have to remember the reason for the season, which is Jesus Christ and His coming. So I hope you all remembered Him this year, because without Him, there would be no need for  gifts, or carols, no new curtains or even our beloved ham.

I’ve been a grouch most of this weekend because Christmas always seems to stress out my family so much. It always makes me wonder why we don’t fix our houses all year round, or start on our cleaning earlier, or do our shopping early or what have you. We always wait until last minute to do it. We wait until December comes around to be nice and to act like we care, but why like that famous song says “why can’t this Christmas feeling go on, why can’t we learn to live together?” Why is it that people can only be nice all year round?

I’m not the nicest, sweetest person all the time, but I like to stay consistent with the way I act, because honestly, it feels like you’re putting on a show by being all Holly Jolly this one time of year. I hope most of you are staying happy or at least content all year-round and not only at Christmas because you think it’s the right thing to do. It’s much better to be happy all year than to fake happiness because all this music is playing and there’s a chill in the air. (I may sound like the Grinch, but you do know how sometimes people change just for the weather. )

For all of you out there like me who are a bit tired of the Christmas songs and the fake cheer, make your own cheer and try to be happy the entire year. I’ve had way to many arguments already for this joyous season that could have been avoided, so I’m just going to stay content and let some of the comments of others roll off my back. Way too much stress is related to Christmas nowadays without considering the real reason for the Holiday.

Finally, I’d like to finish off my Holiday gift ideas posts with these 2 last minute gift  ideas.

  1. Gift Cards: They come for basically any store and seem a bit more thoughtful than just money sometimes because they can choose something from one of their favourite stores. Though money’s still a great gift because that person may need it a lot more than you’d think.
  2. Treat Certificates: A cute little thing couples can exchanges are handmade certificates for “treats” of sorts. “Unlimited Free Hugs”, “1 Neck Massage”, “3 Smooches” or anything you want to put on them. SO when you’re feeling  like you need that extra love you can always use your treat certificate. The best part is that it’s free! 🙂

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope everyone is relaxing and enjoying your holidays!

To Him with Love- Outfits & Pets

Hello lovely people, it’s coming down to the last stretch of the crazy Holiday shopping. Have you gotten something for everyone on your list but still cant find the right this for your boyfriend? Well it’s your lucky day 🙂 (Seriously, I sound like an advertisement….)  But anyway!

What guy doesn’t like to look absolutely handsome in a nice pair of slacks and a cool shirt? I kow many guys actually prefer to look very relaxed daily, but when they go out it’s all about that wow-factor, just like us girls. You know what makes guys feel even more special, wearing a nice outfit, knowing that their lady gave them one of their new favourite pieces.

Guys love Outfits

Get your guy something to suit his tastes, and if it’s hard to find somethin gyou know he’ll love, you can take him shopping with you for this gift. Though it might ruin the surprise of the present, you get time to bond and enjoy each other’ss company for the day. (Mind you, during the Holidays shopping can be rather stressful, but it’s still plausible to have a good time.)

Guys love Pets

Another thing guys love… PETS! Cats, Dogs, fish, turtles/tortoises, iguanas, hammers, birds… the list is partically endless. A pet is a good companion, and it teaches responsiblilty too. It’d be like you and your boyfriend’s little baby to spoil :). Pets are also great when it comes to sharing emotions, so it’s really a plus for comforting your boyfriend when you’re not there. Don’t only give a great gift, give a pet a home 🙂 You can check out the RSPCA and the newspaper classifieds for pets in need of homes.

If your boyfriend already has a pet or you already share one, why not give it a gift. It’s always nice to receive something you need and the same goes for pets, a special treat, a new toy something along those lines.

I really think that pets are a great gift to give and share with your guy, they allow you to bond and your relationship can grow from it, as you both learn to take care of someone other then yourself or your significant other.

Enjoy your Holiday shopping and hope you find the perfect gift! ( I have just one more exam… FINALLY!!!)

XOXO

PS: Just one more instalment in this series, kind of last minute gift ideas for both males and females.

To Her with Love- Jewellery & Literature

Hello!! I should actually be sleeping or studying right now, but I’ve had this gift ideas seriesgoing on for quite sometime and would like to finish in time for Christmas Eve. Last minute shopping is always the most crazy!

Still trying to figure out what to get your girlfriend? How about a classic like JEwellery. Of course remember to stay within your price range because many times after Christmas we are all broke, but the world still goes on and we still have stuff to pay for.

Ladies love jewellery

I’m not going to speak too extensively on types of jewellery pieces or quality, because I’m definitely not an expert on it, haha. But do get her something nice, that she’d like. As I’ve said all along this series, pay attention to what she’s wearing and you’ll get a good idea of what to buy. Some women really like delicate pieces while others like more bold statement jewellery. Always ask the sale representative to help you out, that’s what they’re there for, and most times they do a great job at it.

Ladies Love Literature

From very young, girls love reading. I guess it’s just one of those things that doesn’t change over time. One girl may prefer romantic novels over a fashion magazine or a crafty DIY book, but the bottomline is women love to read.

You can get your girlfriend a year-long magazine subscription, or that boxed set of her favourite series so she can read all the sequels. You can get electronic books even, I’m sure with the right book, she’ll love her gift.

A nice touch is adding a bookmark with a little note from you, she’ll cherish it forever. OR you could write in the front of the book, but I wouldn’t suggest that in case she wants to recycle her books or even return the book if she already as it.  With a bookmark, she can always have it in every book she reads.

I hope you’re all enjoying your Holidays thus far… Mine haven’t officially started. I have 2 more exams… sigh :(. But anyway… just 2 more posts on gift ideas. One more for the guys and finally a post on last minute gifts. (Might put a round -up after I’m finished)

Happy Christmas!

XOXO

Huge make up haul! (Duty-free day!)

Hey all! This post is going to me very picture-loaded! Iwent shopping on Duty-free Day (9th December), and believe me when I say that was the best thing for some one like me who was always eyeing the cosmetics in Cave Shepherd. I didn’t splurge on M.A.C. or any of the department store brands available in store, but instead drifted towards the Revlon products. Some awesome lip products I had heard many gurus rave about. (I still don’t think I’m ready to completely step into M.A.C, especially not with the prices here lol).

I planned ahead and went to town a day earlier, so I could take into account the available items and the prices. I was extremely excited about the whole thing from the Monday I heard about it. Of course I made my list of stuff so I didn’t forget anything and checked swatches online. That’s always a good idea when you’re going out shopping for new make up.

The lines were long in Cave Shepherd despite leaving home early (arriving around 10 a.m. I think), but I braved the wait for the love of make up and bargains! Onto the HAUL! All Swatches of lip products will be included in another post.

The night before, my sister and I strategised and finalised our shopping lists haha. Talk about crazy make-up lovers. She also had a couple extra Lorac make up products lying around and asked if I wanted some. Of course I said YES, what a great way to expand my collection :). Above in the first picture is the Lorac Baked Satin eyeshadow in Posh (beige) and Chic (white). Iam really loving chic, perfect highlight or great for my shimmery neutral eye. As well as the Lorac On-Scene Duo in Champagne and Caviar, it’s a nice highlighter-eyeliner shing-ding. (More on that in another post)

Lorac Lotsa Lip Plumping lipgloss in Foxy & Trixy:

Duty- Free Deals!

Revlon Colorbrust Lipgloss in Papaya & Pink Ice: $21.00 BDS

A bit blurry but you see the names.
Closer look at the colours

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick- Peach: ~$20.00 BDS
I was looking for a nice coral colour (as with Papaya above), I have way too many pinks, and I really wanted to expand my collection.

Love the packaging on this, very sleek and sophisticated.

Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain in Twilight (my sister’s) and Passion (mine): ~$18.00BDS
I’ve tried this already, and it’s really easy to overdose on the colour if you dont have good lighting, I’ve definitely made that mistake. Also you need to moisturise if in cold weather with these, I was at work and the air conditioning was totally drying me out and I forgot my lip balm, ended up licking it all off in 3 hours hahah.

Felt tip applicators much like markers. it’s like drawing on your lips!

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Raisin Rage, Black Cherry & Va Va Violet: ~$19.00BDS
We choose some really vampy dark colours, the one I picked out specifically was Black berry, that was the perfect in between colour for me. My sister looks way better with darker lip colours than me. and I think she really likes Va Va Violet which I suggested. (Loved the name haha).

Clinique Dramatically different Moisturising Gel: ~$24.50
Now as many might remember I had the Garnier Nutritioniste Refreshing Gel-cream (condensed name haha). It was actually a really nice moistuirser, love that it was a gel so it wasn’t very heavy. But instead of buying it over, I took advantage of the deal as the Clinique moisturiser would be around the same price. I wanted to try it out since I had heard about gel moisturisers in the Summer, so this was my chance to get  an equal amount of cream from a department store brand, for the same price as a similarly sized drugstore one. YAY for experimentation, I hope it works just as well or even better!

(Not Duty-free but still awesome)
Guess what else I also found while browsing? NYC Sunny Bronzer! I’ve been hearing about this for THE longest time on YouTube, so I picked one up while I was in Collin’s Pharmacy, along with the Maybelline Fit Me foundation in 350 (Caramel) that I wanted to try for quite some time. Also picked up a new mascara, the Maybelline Great Lash Big and a Bodico foundation brush. All this time I’ve been applying foundation with my fingers, but I think it was about time to get an actual brush haha.
I didn’t take separate pictures of those, because this post would go on forever!  but everything is in the first two photos.
Would you believe this? But what girl doesn’t have a pair of tweezers? Apparently I didn’t, so I also picked up a cute set which had a girl imprinted into the handles. I love it, and I’m going to use it to apply lashes.  Also picked up some lash glue from Diamond Girl Beauty Supply by Sassi, tested a drop on my hand and it’s pretty good. Dries nice and clear is the brush on type. (BTW Adele Tutorial will be coming soon, I finally have the lashes, glue, tweezers, and the eye make up! YAY!)

Disclaimer: All this stuff unless otherwise stated was bought with my own money.
Here ends my haul, I haven’t shown any swatches in this post because that would take forever, but I hope you enjoyed and look out for the post with swatches, as well as the Holiday gift guide for your loved one. I think I have 2 more instalments for each and I will try to get them up before Wednesday next week. We’ll see how it goes! (There should also be a video on this too, so look out for it!)

Happy Holiday Shopping!

XOXO

To Him With Love- Entertainment

Hey all! Time to find the perfect gift for your guy! Why not ENTERTAIN him? Take you mind out of the gutter… I’m talking about new video games, his favourite movie, that kind of thing! (Again I’ll be keeping this nice and brief.. hahah brief)
Gift Ideas- Entertainment
So your guy already has the “perfect” game consoler, but he’s always playing the same thing. For one of his favourite games is bringing out a new version that he’s been raving about from the time he read the article online. Why not get him it, he might love you forever LOL!
Now I don’t know much about games actually, havent played any action games in quite some time, I doubt I would be anyway, unless it’s Smash brothers, does that count? Anyway, I did some research and it showed the games I have pictured are very popular. I know just dance has been pretty popular because a lot of YouTubers have been submitting their videos to the contest that was going on. That looks like a fun bonding game. As always, Call of Duty (COD), which I personally dont see the fascination with it, it’s boring (yes crazy comments now), but it is really beating some sales.
I’ll tell you this, keep your ear to the wall when your guys and his buds are talking about games, you just might find out what he’s been lusting.
On the other hand, your guy isn’t really into games, but loves a good movie.Yes girls our definition of a good movie may not apply, but that’s why some of us like guys, because they’re differenent from us.
So put in the necessary research and you should be ble to come up with his favourite move, or a music he was coveting on dvd or bluray. Who knows, you could watch it together and bond :). The possibiltieis are endless!
Happy Holidays! (and Good Luck in Exams for those still doing them!
XOXO

To Her With Love- Fragrance & Nails

Hey all! I’m back to give you a few more ideas on what to get your girlfriend this Christmas. I’ll try to be as brief as possible because I have some studying and sleeping to do hahaha.

Nail polish is a nice easy gift once you know the colours or brand your lady is into. It’s always fun to get a new nail polish to try out and play with.  Not every girl might like nail polish but, every girl loves perfume right? And there’s one to suit every woman out there, and your tastes too guys. Like I have been saying in basically every post, the item you choose depends on your loved one’s personality and tastes.

Gift Ideas- Fragrance & Nail Polish
Ever realised how many perfume bottles lately are blushtones or purple?

Pay attention to what she’s wearing or carrying in her purse. At some point she’ll be talking about some random fragrance she fell in love with, while shopping with her friends.

Although you may prefer certain scents on your woman, it makes no sense buying her something that she wont like. Go on the advise of her friends, or see what she’s been spraying on and tell the sales assisstant, they should be able to make a great match.

There are plenty of scent types out on the market, ranging from sweet, fruit, sensuous, musky, floral and then there are even combinations of these basic types. It’s up to your girlfriend’s preferrence of scent and the names are self explanatory.

Not only scent types, but different intensities and mediums of fragrance. There are perfumes in the form of Eau de Toilette, Eau de Parfum, Body mists, hand creams, lotions, body butters and the list goes on. If you want the overall lasting scent from head to toe, the best way to go is with a gift set. Happy Scent Shopping!

Unlike fragrance, Nail polish migh tnot suit every woman’s tastes and sometimes it might not be a very practical gift. But as with fragrance, pay attention to what they’re wearing are raving about. It’s as simple as that!

Happy shopping and until next post! Lots of work to be done..

XOXO

What I’m lusting: Beauty Holiday Wishlist!

Hey all! I haven’t wrote a post focussing on actual beauty recently or myself for that matter. I’ve tried to keep off of the crazy school work rants, which I’m sure you’re thanking me for. School has been hectic to say the least, and everything is finally winding down nicely with exams on the way. Of course there’s a bit of stress for exams, but I’m trying to stay calm (we all know that can be pretty hard!).

In this post I’m going to be completely lustly and a tad selfish, hahaha I’ve warned you. I present to you my wishlist for Christmas.

Honesty, I’m pretty much always looking at beauty related stuff and liking some new thing or the other, but I always forget or don’t see the need to actually keep a physical list. Some of these things have been on my mind, and seeing that I’m in the blogging mood, why not share a few with you all. You can also comment on what you’ve been lusting after for the Holidays or just in general. It’s always interesting to see what others like.

Disclaimer: None of the images are my own of course, I’d probably have my own images if these things were mine hahah. (Used Polyvore for the collages)

M.A.C. Paint Pots- Rubenesque & Painterly

My Hoilday Wishlist

I’ve been really liking these for a long time, I think the concept is really nice (seeing they have been around for a very long time and so many people seem to love them anyway). You get a primer with a wash of colour, and you can even wear it on it’s own. I’d really like to try out Rubenesque and Painterly when I can get a chance to. Those seem like very good basic colours. Painterly basically conceals and gives a clean slate for eyeshadow application, while Rubenesque is a gorgeous pinky bronze frost which could be worn everyday on it’s own.

 See Swatches here!

M.A.C. Viva Glam Gaga Lipstick

My Holiday Wishlist

When this came out in 2010 I was sooo excited. At that point in my life I was completely OBSESSED with Lady Gaga! I’m still a Monster, but now I think I’ve diversified a bit. I totally loved this lipstick and the matching lipglass, it was the cutest shade of pink I’d seen. I heard a lot of people saw that it is dupable, but the whole reason behind ti makes me want to get it. The Viva Glam campaign by M.A.C. is actually a charity fund for HIV/AIDS in Africa. I actually remember seeing magazine ads for the campaign long before this lipstick had come out and I thought it was a great incentive to donate.

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils

Taken from HERE!

Just like the M.A.C. Paint pots, I love that these are like primers with colour. these come in so many colours and are said to be very creamy and long-lasting. I’m sure not as wearproof as a paint pot, but it’s definitely more affordable.
Sigma Brush set (Make me up Collection- Make me Crazy)
I’ve looked at this set from December of 2010, I’ve actually blogged about it too.I’m always entering Sigma giveaways because I want to try out Sigma so badly. It’s really find of sad and obsessive hahahaha. It kinda saddened me when Sigma was having their annual Black Friday free INTERNATIONAL shipping and I couldn’t get it. But such is life. I can dream and one day I’ll get these pretty purple brushes. (Another thing, I’m sure the price of this went up by $10 recently, what a shame!)
Benefit Cosmetics
Just a couple things I’ve also been liking from Benefeit cosmetics, that have been full of buzz for the longest while. Benetint, High Beam and their Boxed Blushesl. I particularly like these three shades, Coralista, Bella Bamba and Hoola which are very pretty, not to mention their cute packaging.
Benefit Cosmetics

e.l.f. Blushes & Bronzers

I’m only now starting out on blush and bronzers, and I actually like the e.l.f. ones I have. I like that they’re so affordable and there are a few basic colours, corals, pinks and mauves. On of my favourites is a coral one I have called Glow. It’s nice, sort of a highlight because it’s shimmery, but still adds a flush of colour. I always wanted to try a bronzer, but nothing too shimmery or expensive, I even checked out some reviews and heard the e.l.f ones were good. They even have a contour and blush duo that a dupe for NARS’s best selling Orgasm blush and Laguna Bronzer. I’m not completely sold on them being exact dupes of them, but it does look like they would make for a nice blush/bronzer duo.

e.l.f Blushes & Bronzers

Stila Goodies
I do not know why, but one day I stumbled across Stila’s website (probably thanks to Pursebuzz0, and I’ve been hooked to the site ever since. From the convertible colour blushes, to the multi-use holiday palettes, especially those with the summer themes which came with the fun face make up. One particular part of this site sparked my interest, the “Last Call” section, which has products that are being discontinued in particular shades or completely. and they’re sold really affordably. Added to that, the sales and deals that they have always intrigue me. (darn target marketing and good advertising!). Right now they’re having their Warehouse sale and everything’s like %0% off… siiigh!

STILA!!!

Urban Decay
Unlike most persons into beauty, I’m not lusting the Urban Decay NAKED or NAKED2 palette. I think that’s kind of a boring palette if you ask me. Sure some neutrals are nice, but what’s the fun in that?
What I’d really like is to try out their ever popular primer potions, and get my hands on their beautiful 15th anniversary palette. The packaging on that was beautiful as were the colours! I also thing the Rollergirl palette is really nice for everyday. It’s not as extensive on neutrals as the NAKED palette, but for some one simple like me it has basically everything and a pop of colour.

Urban Decay

Lip Products
As I think back I’ve always liked lip products, lip balm and gloss more so than lipstick, but now the tables have turned. I still love lip balm, definitely die hard fan of it, but I have a new found love of lipstick. In basically ANY COLOUR. The best finish to me is cream though because you can play around with it a lot more than a frost or pearl. Add a gloss to make it shiny, a glittery or shimmery gloss to make it more fun or you can make it completely matte by blotting it.

Lip Products
Palettes
Honestly I love eyeshadows, all the different colours and textures. I might not wear them very often, but I do love them. I think the best way to get plenty of diversity and still have affordability is to buy the 88- 120 colour palettes like those from Coastal Scents, BH Cosmetics etc. You can also get blush palettes, concealer, foundation and even lip palettes. Once you’ve found a good quality one, you can go wrong because they’re so mych variety in them.
