Finally.. ADELE- inspired makeup!

I’ve been saying I’ll do an Adele inspired look for the longest while, and here it finally is. I’m sorry it took so long, but who knew getting lashes on could be such a hassle… not to mention forgetting this tutorial so many times -__-.

My inspiration were these pics of the great Adele. She’s such an amazing singer and a gorgeous person.

Adele’s signature look is a neutral, but dramatic smokey eye with warm hues or bronzer along the cheeks and nude coloured lips. She just loves her FAKE LASHES and cat eyeliner (which I’m not all the great at, but I tried :). I took inspiration from these pics as well as added my own twists. I hope you enjoy the tutorial!!

I tried to film with natural light for most of the tutorial, but that happened to fail and I had to end up using a lamp as the sun set. Hopefully the lighting isn’t too much of a turn off…

Just playing around with the camera here, haha

30 Day Song Challenge 20- 24

Day 20: A song that you listen to when you’re angry

I really can’t think of many songs when I get angry, but I’ll choose “Ring the Alarm” by Beyonce because it’s just one of those angry songs. Strangely enough Beyonce has tons of these angry woman songs hahah.
Day 21: A song that you listen to when you’re happy
“Lollipop” by Mika Bomb, that’s as much as I can say. When you hear it, you’ll understand.
Day 22: A song that you listen to when you’re sad
“Invisible Man” by Son Dam Bi. It’s a song of how she feels without him in her life because he is Love. The song is slow and beautiful, I can’t help but to listen to it when I’m sad and sing/hum along.

In coffee it’s sugar
And with computers, it’s keyboards
When it rains, it’s umbrellas
And to me, it’s you

Day 23: A song that you want to play at your wedding
This is actually really hard, there are plenty of songs I’d probably want to hear on my wedding day, and by the time I actually get married there’ll be tons more. At the moment, I’m loving “Love Song” by Adele. It’s so sweet 🙂
Day 24: A song that you want to play at your funeral
I would like to play “Any Other World” by Mika Bomb at my funeral because it is a reflective solemn song and I think you could listen to it with hope.

30 Day Song Challenge- Day 5 & 6

Here’s day 5 & 6, hope you enjoy 🙂

Day 05: A song that reminds you of someone

There are a lot of songs that remind me of someone, but currently it would have to be Rolling in the Deep by Adele. Not only do you feel everything that she’s saying and she’s a great singer, but this song is very potent and well-sung. I cannot say enough about the meaning within the words and the singer’s voice. So here we have it Rolling in the Deep.

Day 06: A song that reminds of you of somewhere

I’m not sure of this at the moment but I’ll update this post with a song to fill this gap. UPDATE!
So I remember this song called Palance, it reminds me of a trip to Trinidad and a great party with fellow science students. Everyone was dancing and having fun, despite the rough week we had. It was really a great experience. (this is actually the first time I have seen this music video, and I can admit, I like the randomness lol, where did Cookie Monster come from??)

Well I’m off for now, test to write and studying to do!
XOXO
