Windows Phone YouTube app to blow your mind!

Hey all! I’m not an extremely techy person, I know the basics and a bit extra, and this is by no means a tech blog, but my friend Blackman who I did a tag video with like 2 summers ago made an amazing Windows Phone app. It’s called MyTube and is for watching YouTube videos. This app has actually been raved about on the WP Central blog. How awesome is that!

 If you could show my friend your support, just go download his app. There’s a free trial version which allows you to view 1 hour of video before you have to wait 10 minutes to view more, or you could also purchase the full version for $0.99USD. I can’t even buy it or use it as I don’t have a Windows Phone, but if I did, I’d have this for sure because sometimes the official YouTube app can be rather glitchy.

YouTube Contest update

Hey everyone, I will still be having my contest, just thinking up of a couple more items to add to the ones I have. As I had said previously it will not be international, however home-based (Barbados).

Some of the criteria will be, that you have to be a subscriber and you must be 18 years or older or have parental permission. You will be required to answer one question which I will post in a video and post the answer as a comment to the video. I may allow you to post a number of times for multiple entries. For more entries, you can follow my blog (http://chrisamorgoodiejar.blogspot.com/) and post a comment on the contest post which I will upload.

I will be using a random generator such as http://www.random.org to choose the winners. The winners will have one week to reply to me via YouTube or an email address with I will post (for those who entered through blogger). 

This contest will run for a month, and will be held during mid-July to August.

Tropical-ish Make up Look

Hey all, this look was requested by LeyaHollingsworth (on youtube, also known as my friend Ashley ^__^), from my Makeup Doll review/ 88 matte palette video. 

She asked me to do a tutorial with yellows, oranges and blacks, however I wasn’t liking how the yellow was applying.. it was a little to close to my skintone and just blended in. So I will do another look when I get a completely white base where I do exactly that look. For this look, I reversed the order from yellow-orange purple to purple-orange yellow.  Sorry to disappoint if I did, but I hope you improve and attain more beauty products which will help me to create more outrageous looks. 
In the video, I was trying out a couple of things, slightly different backdrop, different camera settings, slightly different editing and voice overs. Please comment on the effectiveness of this style (that sounded like an exam question lolol).  


Oh yes, I was trying to show the proucts and colours in the videos, but I had gotten accustomed to the zoom on the camera so they all look really bad and none of the eyeshadow colours are shown on the screen. Thus I have taken a picture and circled the colours used. Usually I would use Adobe Photoshop for something like that, but I do not have it on this computer. Hope what I did in Paint will suffice. ^__^ Enjoy!

When I did this look I thought it was a lot more bright that it looks, but in pictures it doesn’t look as bright, which may be a good thing.

The Blackberry Empathy…

I wasnt sure what to vlog on first, until my friend showed me this new blackberry… I thought it was very.. um.. odd. It’s really very different from the regular blackberry in many ways. The look, the interface, the features.
To me it actually looks like a rock, something from Smallville perhaps (great show btw lol). But by the looks of this phone I’m surprised it doesn’t have some sort of eerie glow to it, like kryptonite.

It’s also touch screen and get this.. there’s a keyboard (mind you a very weird pebbly keyboard), at the BACK!.. you saw that right.. at the back of the phone or front… hmm who really knows which side is which.
To make matters worse, the phone has this mood feature where the user wears a mood ring which tells his current and previous mood.. go figure a mood ring!

I’M back and now on youtube!!

Hi everyone, I recently started vlogging!! woot! So i’m on Youtube now.. I actually think it’s easier to film and talk than type.. hahah laziness, anyway i will be posting pics here of the looks and videos I make as well as any other random stuff I don’t happen to make an actual video about.
